Sam is a CFP® Professional who has been interested in the financial impact of a medical diagnosis on an individual and family since 2009 when it stopped being a theory and started being a reality for him and his family.

In and after school, he studied health care, economics, behavioral economics, and personal finance, which eventually led other CFP®s to recommend that he get certified as one in his own right. He applies the principles he has learned from these subjects such as paradox of choice and decision fatigue to make complicated processes simpler and with better outcomes for businesses and their employees.

By being independent, Sam is driven to provide the best solutions on the market and to have conversations that make positive impacts on business and employee outcomes. He is a firm believer that providing good benefits to employees is not only good for employees, but it is good for revenue.

In his free time, Sam likes to meditate, dance salsa, and play chess.-

Sam is a CFP® Professional who has been interested in the financial impact of a medical diagnosis on an individual and family since 2009 when it stopped being a theory and started being a reality for him and his family.

Leaving school he went straight into insurance and found it striking how eager people were to purchase life and health insurance but hesitant to get disability insurance. Put simply, he learned that the disability conversation is a difficult conversation and that this was common.

After going to the drawing board about how to discuss it and studying negotiation and persuasion techniques and translating them to the disability conversation, Sam finally started having success. As a result, he is dedicated to helping other CFPs to have better conversations so that their clients get protected.

The simple truth is that this mission is personal. Sam’s life would be much better if someone had had a good conversation with his disabled family member before becoming sick. He is teaching CFPs so that they do not witness the financial distress caused by a disability with their own clients and their families.

Sam believes that the keys to help clients make the right decisions are offering them tailored experiences and having effective life-changing conversations. After helping thousands of clients, Sam is currently dedicated to share his experience and knowledge with other CFP’s, helping them to advise their own clients with their insurance needs.
